About Jason Maude

Jason Maude, Chief Technology Advocate at Starling Bank.  With over a decade of working in the financial sector, Jason has crafted a career as a coder, coach and public speaker. Specialising in creating and delivering software, Jason has a stated passion for explaining complex technical concepts to those who are convinced they won't be able to understand them. Alongside his busy day job at Starling, Jason is the host for the Starling Developer podcast, which offers insider access into what goes on behind the curtain at one of the UK's leading challenger banks. Jason has been at Starling for over seven years. Initially employed as a Senior Developer in 2016, Jason went on to become Head of Technology Advocacy in 2017 before assuming his current position in 2019. Before Starling, Jason spent close to ten years at CHP Consulting, in both consulting and management roles. Jason Maude holds a 2005 - 2007 Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering @ University of Nottingham.
