About Jarrod Yuster

Jarrod S. Yuster is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pico, a leading infrastructure services provider, focused on today’s global capital markets community. Pico’s mission is to empower the electronic trading community to access the global capital markets through flexible, scalable, ultra-low latency technology solutions. Pico’s client base encompasses a full spectrum of market participants – banks, broker dealers, technology vendors, asset managers, trading firms, family offices, hedge funds and liquidity venues. Pico was founded in 2009 and has grown to over 130 employees in three offices in New York, Chicago and London.

Mr. Yuster has over 20 years of experience in institutional trading. Previously, Mr. Yuster was Global Head of Merrill Lynch’s Electronic Trading, where he oversaw the business from inception in 2002 through February, 2009. He was responsible for sales, trading, risk, execution service, product development and quantitative analytics for these products worldwide. His trading products reached over 85 global equity markets. His team built electronic and quantitative trading strategies and provided consulting to clients on execution, transaction cost analysis, trading technology, commission/exchange fee management, and market structure. Mr. Yuster has extensive experience starting trading businesses and building trading technology products. Prior to working on Wall Street, Mr. Yuster worked as a product engineer, performing semiconductor research at Intel Corporation.

At present, Mr. Yuster is a member of the Yale School of Engineering Leadership Council and also serves on the Operating Board for the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI), providing mentorship to Yale student entrepreneurs. Mr. Yuster is an active early stage investor in and advisor for numerous technology and services companies. Mr. Yuster received his M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Yale University.
