About Izzy Obeng

I'm an entrepreneur, business coach and professional speaker leading Foundervine – an international training consultancy specialising in start-up and scale-up acceleration programmes. Our ambition is to address the social and economic inequality that’s faced by women and young people from under-served communities when starting a business or social enterprise. Since launching in 2018, Foundervine has graduated 300+ young business leaders in creating, testing, sustaining and developing their entrepreneurial ideas through our Startup 54 programme. To achieve this, we actively engage over 3,000 women and ethnic minority entrepreneurs, through large scale events, immersive learning programmes, 1:1 coaching and/or mentoring in partnership with global companies. We are driven by a core mission: to remove social barriers to entrepreneurship and build the greatest network of digitally enabled businesses in the world. Our unique approach to supporting future founders actively involves enabling companies, both public and private, both big and small, to utilise their talent in supporting social change. We believe that companies of the future will not be measured by the value of their assets, but on the impact they have on the communities around them. We’re proud to have partnered with world-leading corporations such as Microsoft, Just Eat, PwC UK and Ersnt & Young. We have further engaged mentors, speakers and facilitators from over 100 women and ethnic minority run organisations. I speak regularly, value collaboration and enjoy discussing inclusivity in the global digital tech ecosystem.
