About Howard Hammond

Howard Hammond serves as Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer Banking at Fifth Third Bank, the ninth-largest U.S.-based bank. With over 30 years of financial services experience and as a leader with Fifth Third for the past 15 years, Howard has remained focused on developing teams to provide smart financial solutions, and improving customers’ lives and communities. Howard was named Head of Retail Banking and Brokerage in April 2020. Prior to that, Howard was President and CEO of Fifth Third Securities beginning in 2006 where his vision to transform the business resulted in over $8,5 billion of growth in the firm’s managed money business. He also started an insurance business focused on life, disability and long-term care. Howard Hammond lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife. They have three adult children.
