About Hany Rashwan

I use technology to make the world a more efficient, prosperous, and equal place. A “leave it better than we found it” kind of thing. I was born and raised in beautiful Egypt, but attended both high school and college in the United States.
I am most interested in financial technologies (‘fintech’) and seek big problems to fix, particularly impactful and complex ones with huge regulatory and bureaucratic hurdles. I’m biased towards the unsexy, boring, time-consuming and incredibly difficult aspects of fintech. I have extensive experience with crypto, blockchain, and payments specifically as well as associated compliance, regulatory, and product aspects.
