George Doolittle manages the team responsible for payment and liquidity risk management, global sales, technical sales and payment strategy, customer experience and Well Fargo’s Network Management team.
He began his career with the Philadelphia National Bank in 1981 in international Operations and subsequently became a relationship manager largely focused on the Financial Institutions markets including several prolonged positions in Europe. George established Global Payment Services at Wells Fargo in 2000.
George Doolittle is the Vice Chair and Director of the SWIFT US NMG and chair of the group’s U.S. Cash and Trade sub-committee. He also serves on the Payment Council of the European Savings Banks; he is permanent representative for Wells Fargo at the European Banking Association (EBA) and as a trustee of the International House of Philadelphia.
George earned an A.B. in economics and international studies from Oberlin College in Ohio.
