About Geoff Kot

Geoff Kot is a Managing Director and the Global Head of FX Cash trading at Standard Chartered Bank.  He is currently based in Singapore but also spent a significant part of his career working in Hong Kong and London, during which time he developed expertise in both developed and emerging currency and debt markets.  He has a keen interest in the application of technology to Financial Markets and has been leading the development of the ecommerce platform at Standard Chartered.  He was also a member of the Market Participants Group working with global regulators to help develop the Global FX Code.  Prior to joining Standard Chartered he worked at Barclays and Merrill Lynch. He is a Board member of 24Exchange, a multi-asset trading venue and Observer on the Board of Symphony, a global collaboration platform for financial institutions. Geoff Kot holds a 2000 - 2003 BA Economics & Management @ University of Oxford.
