About Frederic Hofmann

Frederic Hofmann is the Co-Head of ING Ventures, the €350m corporate venture capital fund of ING Bank, investing in early and growth stage companies shaping the future of financial services and beyond banking. In parallel he is co-founder and on the investment committee of Slamdunk Capital, a seed fund focused on investing into scalable European tech start-ups.

Fred has 16 years principal investment experience and has completed over 75 private equity and venture capital investments in Europe, the US and Asia. Prior to joining ING Ventures in early 2018 he was a Director at Anthemis, a leading fintech venture capital firm, before which he worked for Goldman Sachs, Bridgepoint and Open Capital.
