About Florin Arghirescu

Florin Arghirescu is senior vice president and chief product officer of Synchrony, one of the nation’s premier consumer financial services companies. Florin Arghirescu leads Synchrony’s product management and engineering for the company’s broad product portfolio ranging from revolving credit, installment loans to buy now pay later solutions that are leveraged by more than 65 million active consumers. Florin is also responsible for developing the company’s strategic vision to innovation, including the definition, delivery and roadmaps for all Synchrony products. Florin also oversees the incubation team and the experience design team across all Synchrony products with the goal of ensuring an easy customer experience. Previously, He was the senior vice president of technology for Synchrony’s Retail Card platform where he oversaw business development and payment innovation for large clients including Amazon, PayPal, Venmo, and Lowe’s. He also provided technology leadership for marketing, treasury and the bank. Prior to Synchrony’s separation from GE in 2015, He served in various roles of increasing responsibility and management at GE. He volunteers with Special Olympics and lives with his wife and three children in Connecticut. Florin Arghirescu holds a 1998 - 1999 Master Of Business Administration in International Business @ Clarkson University.
