About Eric Duffaut
As President and Global head of Field & Marketing at FINASTRA, Eric Duffaut is responsible for the entire Go-To-Market organization including Sales, Global Services and the Partner Eco-system, as well as Marketing. He leads this organization to partner with leading financial services institutions around the world and enable their digital transformation with a leading solutions portfolio and FusionFabric.cloud, the leading open platform for innovation and collaboration.
Prior to join FINASTRA, Eric was member of the Management Board of Software AG from October 2014 to October 2018. As Chief Customer Officer, he was responsible for Global Sales, Consulting Services and Marketing.
Eric has over 20 years of extensive international general management and sales leadership experience in the IT-industry, addressing a wide spectrum of customers from Fortune 500 enterprises to small and medium size businesses.
Eric Duffaut began his career in 1987 at Unisys France as Account executive. He then joined Oracle Corporation in 1990 where he held various sales and leadership positions in the EMEA region.
In 2005, Eric joined SAP AG as Executive Vice President responsible for the entire P&L in multiple EMEA countries, as well as being responsible for the SME segment across the region.
In 2008, Eric became Global Executive Vice President of SMEs and Channels.
In 2011, he was appointed Corporate Officer and President of Global Ecosystem & Channels, responsible for SAP’s global SME go-to-market strategy and SAP’s broad partner community, reporting directly to SAP CEO, Bill McDermott.
Eric is an outstanding visionary business leader with strong ability to execute and deliver, extraordinary communication skills and capacity to energize individuals and large audiences.
Eric holds a master’s degree in economics and finance, as well as a business degree. He also completed the advanced management program at the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).
