About Edward Hallett

With over a decade of strategic leadership in fintech, Edward Hallett's focus is empowering small businesses through cutting-edge commerce and payments technology. As a Senior Director at PayPal, He lead the product development for invoicing, in-store solutions (Zettle), and business profiles. Edward Hallett studied Philosophy & French at Oxford University, and was tutored by Prof. Stephen Mulhall - a leading British philosopher and critical film theorist. Following his undergraduate studies, Edward went on to complete a doctorate with a focus on Psychoanalysis and the later Philosophy of Wittgenstein. in 2007, Edward joined a major London based investment bank, where he spent four and a half years working on corporate finance transactions in Mergers & Acquisitions and Debt restructuring. In 2011 he moved to Lebanon, where he has been living and working on independent film projects including the half hour documentary 'Charlie & Janet' (London film Festival) and the short fiction film 'Half Past Time
