About Dr Jim Coke

Dr Jim Coke was a Cambridge Commonwealth Scholar at the University of Cambridge, where he completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He completed his PhD in Behavioural Economics at King’s College London, where he learnt to uniquely integrate technology and user behaviour to enhance AI solutions in business. As Head of AI Research at Melian Dialogue Research Ltd since July 2023, he has led numerous AI initiatives, collaborating with UK and international clients to develop machine-learning business solutions. His innovative user research methodologies have significantly improved software development processes. He has authored over a dozen in-depth market research reports, driving strategic decision-making. He has developed machine learning algorithms to personalise and enhance user experiences, demonstrating his commitment to accessible technology. Dr Jim Coke is a skilled researcher and strategist with a proven record of managing diverse teams and complex projects. He effectively translates behavioural insights into actionable AI strategies. Actively expanding his expertise, Dr Jim Coke ensures the benefits of AI and machine learning are widely realised.  He brings experience from previous roles at Level, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, HM Revenue & Customs and Lloyds Banking Group.
