About Dorothy Copeland

With over 20 years in technology, Dorothy Copeland has extensive executive leadership experience running multi-billion-dollar P&L organizations across sales, partner ecosystems, industry markets and business development teams. Her experience spans from start-ups to large multi-national Fortune 50 companies, driving customer and partner business in technology organizations focused on Digital Payments, Cloud, AI/ML/Analytics, Blockchain and Security.  She is an entrepreneurial and versatile business executive and board director with a background in sales, operations, strategy, and alliances. She has worked for companies of all sizes, from unicorn startups to Fortune 100s - including Stripe, AWS, and IBM. She has a passion for building and scaling businesses by developing new and expanding routes to market, with experience in driving GTM at high-growth companies such as at AWS and Stripe, and seeking out new routes to market at IBM, Cloudmark, and Avocent. Known as a high-impact leader, she has hired and led large global teams at AWS, IBM, and Stripe; and serves as a mentor and advisor for the next generation of technology leaders. Dorothy Copeland served as Board Director for IT services firm Navisite (PE-backed by Madison Dearborn Partners), guiding the cloud and digital transformation services firm to a successful exit to Accenture earlier this year. She also serves as an Expert at Primary Venture Partners, advising early-stage founders and investors in New York City and is currently advising the CEO of Invisory on product offering and GTM strategy.
