About Diana Paredes

In 2014 I co-founded Suade - a software platform, revolutionising the way financial institutions comply with regulation Prior to founding Suade, I had a successful career in investment banking, covering all asset classes at Barclays and Merrill Lynch, across sales, trading & structuring. Whilst working in the industry, I saw an opportunity to innovate and launch a Fintech/Regtech startup. I believe that a data-driven approach to regulation is the key to preventing the next financial crisis. As a member of several boards and councils, I work alongside regulators worldwide to promote technological standards, workforce diversity, and Agile Governance (WEF council). Additionally, I am an active fundraiser for Women for Women International, passionate about creating a diverse workplace and supporting gender equality. I participate in various debates, including at government level for the UK and EU.
