About Diana Carrasco-Vime
I have been working in the Financial Industry since 2002, first in payments and more recently in banking. My expertise is in developing strategy for the Digital space. I have done so from different angles: from business development and propositions, to risk and compliance strategy. This varied background gives me a comprehensive understanding of the fintech environment and allows me to have a commercial approach to risk management. I believe the risk function should always be understood as a business enabler, not a blocker, and should fuel innovation.
I have also held different advisory roles, for governments, not-for-profit organisations, and the private industry. From all of them, what makes me most proud is my work helping protect children online. I have also been invited as a guest lecturer at University of Cambridge.
Having a strong interest in diversity and inclusion, I collaborate with a number of networks and organisations outside of my day job. I am also a sponsor and a mentor at Lloyd Banking Group’s “Breakthrough”, a network committed to support the business to capitalise on the full potential of gender balanced teams.
