Diana Carrasco-Vime has been working in the Financial Industry since 2002, first in payments and more recently in banking. Her expertise is in developing strategy for the Digital space. She has done so from different angles: from business development and propositions to risk and compliance strategy. This varied background gives her a comprehensive understanding of the fintech environment and allows her to have a commercial approach to risk management. She believes the risk function should always be understood as a business enabler, not a blocker, and should fuel innovation. From all of them, what makes her most proud is her work helping protect children online. She has also been invited as a guest lecturer at the University of Cambridge. Diana is also a sponsor and mentor at Lloyd Banking Group's 'Breakthrough,' a network committed to supporting the business in capitalising on the full potential of gender-balanced teams. Diana believes in finance as a force for good. Her expertise is in developing strategy for innovation, always with the real needs of people at the centre of what she does. She has helped the payments industry evolve in the ecommerce, digital, and omnichannel space by managing product propositions end to end, both through internal transformation and through strategic partnerships.
