Dexter Cousins founded Tier One People in 2016 to help Australia become a leading nation in Fintech, driven by the belief that Fintech will create a fairer, safer, and better future for his children. His passion and belief have positioned him as a leading voice in the Fintech community. The mission of Tier One People is clear: to bring talent and ventures together to build world-class Fintech. The values of fairness, kindness, discretion, and transparency are fundamental to the way the business is conducted. Tier One People has become a leader in the Fintech sector and is the recommended executive search partner by the peak industry body, FinTech Australia. Its partners include Austrade, the UK Department of Industry and Trade, and Blockchain Australia. His greatest passion lies in supporting the next wave of Fintech entrepreneurs. He has served as an advisor to hundreds of Fintech startups. In 2019, he created the Fintech Chatter Podcast to give a voice and platform to founders. The podcast is listened to in over forty countries and has accumulated more than 250,000 downloads. He feels privileged to contribute to the Australian Fintech startup ecosystem but most cherishes his roles as a dad and husband.
