David Tyrie leads the transformation, integration and management of Bank of America’s digital platforms, charged with providing each client a seamless, personalized digital experience that spans and supports their full relationship with the bank – from banking to lending to investing. His team delivers dynamic and innovative digital solutions that meet clients’ present and future needs – including artificial intelligence-driven virtual financial assistance, client rewards and offers, life engagement and financial planning, and digitizing Bank of America’s network of more than 4,300 financial centers and 17,000 ATMs.
As clients move to digital platforms for their day-to-day financial needs, David’s team is making it easy, convenient and secure for clients across all segments – Consumer, Small Business, Wealth Management and Global Banking – to do business with Bank of America, any time and in any way they choose. Under his leadership, and with an integrated high-tech and high-touch approach to client engagement, Bank of America serves 66 million clients who interact with the company 10 billion times per year, with nine billion of those interactions coming through digital channels.
Most recently, David was the Head of Consumer and Small Business Products for Bank of America, where he was responsible for delivering consumer deposits, debit and credit card, first mortgage, home equity, vehicle lending, wealth management banking and small business banking products, services and solutions to meet the financial needs of our 66 million consumer and small business clients. He also led Fraud Strategies, Preferred Rewards and Life Services for Bank of America.
Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of Retirement and Personal Wealth Solutions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, responsible for institutional and personal retirement and preferred segment solutions.
Prior to joining Bank of America, David served as Managing Director, Global Products and Marketing, for Putnam Investments. Earlier, he served in various leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, where he was instrumental in pioneering the Fidelity.com business, and at MFS Investment Management.
