In 2004 I joined what was then an extremely small sector called "Prepaid Cards", at this time there was a small number of retail gift cards available in the UK. Since this time I have primarily been involved in the Prepaid Card market, starting out with closed loop gift cards then migrating to scheme branded prepaid cards using MasterCard and or Visa as the scheme to power the transactions.
To date I have been involved programs in over 65 re-loadable scheme branded programs including: General Purpose Re-loadable, Money Transfer Cards, Corporate Incentive Cards, Expenses Cards, Travel Currency Cards, Payroll Cards, Retail Distribution Cards, Loyalty Reward Cards, Insurance Claim Payout Cards as well as numerous "closed loop" Gift Cards.
Specialities:
• Taking the broad idea of clients wishing to enter the Prepaid Market, evaluating their idea and helping to make sure the product will make a ROI for my client.
• Partnership Selection and commercial negotiations.
• E-Money Licencing processes and procedure definitions and manual creation, including regulator/scheme AML Compliance and KYC onboarding specification.
• Design of the initial product is key and whilst ensuring that the client understand the routes to market is a key part of the sales process.
