Execution oversight of Retail Banking exit, sale of the Private Bank, and relocating the equities franchise to Hong Kong.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Regional Execution Lead across the Americas to deploy effective AML/KYC and Sanctions controls to satisfy exit requirements for the Deferred Prosecution Agreement and OCC Consent Order. Established governance, controls, and a risk management framework for the investment bank to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
In response to multiple regulatory changes in consumer protection laws in Indonesia, implemented a strategic plan to ensure compliance of consumer credit products to support aggressive growth targets. Established a SWAT strategy to triage and execute kaizen process improvements to transform efficiency and quality of the credit card distribution platform, resulting in becoming the leading foreign bank across multiple products in Indonesia.
BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION
Addressed a key regulatory challenge related to Financial Crime Risk management by establishing a Global Big Data and Robotics Lab in Toronto. Developed capabilities included global account activity review for clients with complex legal entity structures, data analytics to identify revenue opportunities and robotics solutions to enable STP in operations teams across multiple asset classes.
