I’m a Senior financial services professional with broad commercial experience across; General management, business development, client management, marketing & insights, loyalty, digital, new product / value proposition development and the European marketplace.
I’m high energy, high impact and results focused – I love working on complex business challenges with a great team and translating them into an innovative strategy and exciting outcomes.
At American Express I lead the U.K merchant services organisation responsible for the Amex merchant acquiring business in the U.K. and sit on the U.K country executive team.
I’m also responsible for Pay with Bank Transfer our new innovative open banking payment product and also our aggregator payment facilitation business across Europe.
In other roles at American Express I have; led the European marketing team including a data and insights organisation, worked with global airlines, retailers and hotel chains across Europe, Asia and the US and also set up a innovative pre paid business in Europe.
Prior to American Express I worked at 20/20 a leading strategy and design company where I worked to develop new retail and brand / product propositions for global companies Volvo and Ford as well as leading U.K. brands such as Sainsbury’s and B&Q.
I’m educated to PhD level in business strategy from Manchester Business School.
