Claus is the CEO & Co-Founder of award-winning RegTech company Know Your Customer. A thought leader in global financial regulations, KYC/AML compliance and digital client onboarding, Claus joined forces with his co-founders in 2015 to build a state of the art platform and revolutionise the world of KYC compliance. From the very beginning, Claus has developed and led a strong team to build a cutting-edge solution that truly addresses organisations’ compliance needs in ever-evolving regulatory environments. With offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, and Dublin and team members across 17 different countries, Know Your Customer has quickly established a global presence and a reputation for excellence. Prior to co-founding Know Your Customer, Claus founded his own software company, Servolutions GmbH, a company which develops and sells software products for e-mail server infrastructure to more than 60,000 worldwide customers. With a degree in computer science from the University of Hamburg, Claus worked for a number of technology companies including Vision Systems GmbH (Project Lead) and Thielert Aircraft Engines as VP Electronics, designing and series-producing the group’s digital engine management system for small aircraft and military drones.
