About Cameron Bready

Cameron Bready is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Payments, a Fortune 500 company. As President and COO, Cameron oversees the company’s worldwide merchant solutions businesses across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America along with worldwide operations, risk management, product and real estate. Cameron joined Global Payments in 2014 as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and became President and COO in 2019. Cameron has been recognized multiple times as one of "America's Best CFOs" by Institutional Investor, "CFO of the Year" by Crain's Detroit Business and “CFO of the Year” in the large public company category by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He is Chair of the Board of Trustees at Oglethorpe University and a member of the Board of Directors of the Electronic Transactions Association, the leading trade association for the payments industry, and the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Pace Academy. Prior to joining Global Payments, Cameron served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for ITC Holdings Corp. from 2009 - 2014. He also served as Vice President of Finance at Northeast Utilities and Senior Vice President of Mirant Corporation. Cameron earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oglethorpe University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
