About Ben Goss

I am co-founder and CEO of Dynamic Planner.

Dynamic Planner is the award-winning financial planning system which helps financial advice firms match people with suitable portfolios through engaging financial planning. We do this so people can fund the things that are important to them in life. Already used by over a third of UK investment advice firms, our goal is to support advice given to over half of UK advised investors.

I have long believed that technology plays a critical role in helping advisers serve customers and customers access the advice they need. In 1998 I founded Sort, the UK’s first regulated online advice firm, successfully selling the business to mPower in 2000, the US’s largest provider of online 401k pension advice where I went on to become UK MD. Prior to Sort I was a financial services strategy consultant with PwC and Cooper & Lybrand.

Ben is a regular speaker at industry events and is widely quoted in the industry press. He has published a number of articles on the topic of advice and technology. He is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and winner of the Bank of Scotland Entrepreneur Challenge. DT was listed in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and won the Deloitte Fast 50, the fastest growing technology company over five years in the UK in 2009. In 2017 he published Catching the FinTech Wave a guide for advice firms to help them adopt FinTech and transform their business.
