Prof Baback Yazdani is the Dean of Nottingham Business School at NTU, UK’s 4th largest business school and world leaders in personalisation, experiential learning.
He has combined extensive senior leadership experience from Top Academic Institutions and Global Auto Industry to lead the growth and development of NBS to overtake most Russell Group University business schools in rankings and taken NBS to be accredited by EQUIS and AACSB.
NBS is now listed in the FT Top 100 European Business Schools, and ranks 4th for Accounting and Finance, 7th Economics and 11th for Business, Management and Marketing by the Guardian Good University Guide 2020.
Professor of Automotive product development with a globally recognised expertise in auto industry and innovation and product development research with substantial personal research grants, life time equivalent in excess of £6M.
He is an influential member of the global educational and industrial networks and has helped shaped some of its most modern policy developments through lead roles in International Business & Management Education as Board member of EFMD, Council Member and Treasurer of Chartered ABS, Chair of Academy of Business in Society(ABIS) and Member of Board of Trustees of Chartered of Management Institute (CMI). He is also of highly networked in UK Business Community and the only academic who has been a Chair of CBI (East Midlands). He is Fellow of IET, Companion of CMI, Principal Fellow of higher Education Academy, member of British Academy of Management and American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
