Andrew Chau is building Neo Financial from the ground up to provide Canadians with the most rewarding spending and saving experience — the way it should be.
Before co-founding Neo, Andrew Chau was a co-founder of SkipTheDishes, the largest food delivery network in Canada. He expanded Skip to over 110 markets and millions of customers, with more than 2,500 employees. The company was acquired by Just-Eat in 2016 for $200M and later merged with Takeaway (2019) and Grubhub (2020), forming one of the largest food delivery companies in the world. Today, the Canadian Skip food delivery business generates over $3 billion in sales annually.
Chau has also founded Stock Market Challenge, a competition for students interested in the stock market, and they have served as a Canadian delegate for Junior Team Canada.
Andrew Chau has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, where they majored in finance. Andrew also has a Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute. After working in the financial industry for a few years, they decided to pursue an MBA at the University of Canberra, where they studied finance and international business. He began his professional journey as a consultant at BCG. As one of the few non-core school hires (i.e., non-Ivy League) that year, he learned the ropes by tackling numerous complex problems for Fortune 500 companies.
