About Alexander Breeden

Alexander Breeden is an early-stage Venture Capital investor at Fuel Ventures, focusing on investing in the next generation of tech-enabled platforms, marketplaces, and SaaS start-ups. He leads Fuel's marketing efforts and supports fundraising from Chinese clients. Through his efforts, he has doubled the firm's online following, helping increase deal flow from over 200 deals per month to over 600. With operator experience in digital marketing, gamification, and innovation from his time at Social Entertainment Ventures and Puttshack, he has been involved in building and rolling out various concepts across the UK and into the US. He played a key role in launching the COVID symptom tracking app, TrackTogether, at the onset of the pandemic, working with the UK Government and leading universities, including Berkeley and UCLA, before the app was handed over to the Government. Alexander Breeden holds an undergraduate degree in Chinese and Economics from SOAS, was awarded a government scholarship to study Business Chinese in Beijing at UIBE, and has a Master’s degree from The London School of Economics.
