Managed and grew $100 million product line, incubated new business divisions, founded new ventures and restructured existing businesses. Four start-ups with two exits. Deep expertise in FinTech/RegTech/GRC, entity reference data, Know Your Customer (KYC)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), SaaS-based enterprise platforms, AI and machine learning solutions, credit ratings, research tools, government forms and filing, online marketplaces, and e-commerce in both B2B and B2C settings. Alan is currently VP of Product at Encompass, the only provider of simultaneous, real-time access to multiple sources of global company, registry and person data to automate KYC, AML and EDD policies. He has extensive experience leading product management, marketing and data operations in the FinTech and RegTech world. He was Global Head of Exiger DDIQ, Head of Entity Verification Services at Bloomberg KYC, and Head of Reference Data Services at Opus-Alacra. He also led product management at WorldPay, Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings. He is the former CEO of Clearpath Immigration, a start-up revolutionizing the immigration filing process. Prior to that he was a key member of the executive team that turned around the business at Dotmenu, the nation’s largest ecommerce marketplace for online food delivery, culminating in its sale to GrubHub/Seamless. He was a co-founder of People Capital, an education finance platform, where he led the development of the lending platform, private-label services and innovative risk analytics for the student marketplace. He began his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen and Gemini Consulting. He has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA (Hons) in Law and Management from Cambridge University.
