About Alain Dib

Alain Dib serves as the CEO of Knuru Capital since November 2018, leading a venture capital fund that invests globally in digital disruptors. In addition to this role, Alain holds multiple board positions, including memberships at Alma Health, Jeeny, Joi Gifts, QuickCheck, The Giving Movement, NOW Money, and Ibancar, alongside serving as a board observer at Jiji.ng, a leader in online classifieds in sub-Sahara Africa. Alain's experience in the luxury sector is evident through the board membership at The Luxury Closet, Inc. Alain holds a Master in Management from NEOMA Business School, completed between 1987 and 1990. Alain Dib joined Waha Capital in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, to oversee the company’s operations, business development and investment activities. Dib joined Waha Capital after a 20-year career at BNP Paribas, where he held senior investment banking positions, including in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, high yield debt and convertible bond origination.  Prior to that, Dib was based in London as the Managing Director, Head of Equity Capital Markets EMEA, for BNP Paribas and a member of the Corporate Finance Management UK and CIB Management Committees. He had also headed the bank’s Restructuring and Advisory Group, the Distressed Finance Group, and was joint-head for the European High Yield Group. Dib previously also worked at Deutsche Bank as a Managing Director in its European Leverage Finance Group. He holds a Sup de Co degree from the Reims Management School in France.
