Alaa Saeed, Citi’s global head of foreign exchange electronic platforms, has left after more than 16 years with the US bank, FX Markets understands. As global head of Citi’s FX platforms business, Saeed oversaw its single-dealer platform, Velocity, as well as its relationships with various external FX vendors. He also oversaw the consolidation of the bank’s four eFX trading platforms for corporate and professional investor clients – CitiFX Pulse, Citi Velocity Trading, Citi Velocity Research
