Adam Toms serves on the Executive Management team at OpenFin and works with the firm's largest clients on their most important strategic initiatives shaped by his extensive background in innovation and transformation projects across Financial Services. Prior to OpenFin, Adam Toms served as CEO of Instinet Europe. Under his leadership, the firm ranked #1 for customer volume on the London Stock Exchange, #3 for Pan-European equity customer volume, achieving record market share and profitability. Adam Toms carries a wide range of Financial Services knowledge including trading, risk management and regulatory compliance having been CF1 and CF3 FCA registered. During his 20+ years in financial markets, he has led numerous high profile businesses and large-scale M&A integration projects resulting in a reputation for delivering strategic change and first to market innovations. Prior to Instinet, he was Co-Global Head of Electronic Trading at Nomura having joined as part of the company’s acquisition of Lehman Brothers, where he headed the Market Access Group. Toms has also served as Non-Executive Board Director for RSRCHXhange and as a Senior Advisor to Catelas, both start-up companies enjoyed successful exits. In his role at OpenFin, Adam is focused on driving industry-wide adoption of OpenFin’s vendor-neutral platform, which enables rapid, secure innovation for all market participants. Under his leadership, the firm ranked #1 for customer volume on the London Stock Exchange, #3 for Pan-European equity customer volume, achieving record market share and profitability.
