WealthArc Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification as It Builds the Secure Data Foundation for AI-Driven Wealth Management
WHY THIS MATTERS: The quiet requirement for the mass adoption of AI in wealth management is not clever algorithms, but ironclad trust in the underlying infrastructure. WealthArc’s ISO 27001 certification signals a crucial development in the sector’s journey toward true scale. As firms race to deploy Agentic AI to automate complex tasks like portfolio reconciliation and document ingestion—solving the historic ‘last mile’ problem—the industry cannot afford a single data security lapse. This is why a certification of this scope matters today. It validates that the fundamental security controls and Data Governance framework are in place to handle sensitive client information from hundreds of global custodians. This independent assurance shifts the conversation from if AI can be used to how it can be deployed responsibly and at institutional velocity, providing a necessary blueprint for other WealthTech providers looking to power next-generation workflows.
WealthArc Sp. z o.o. (WealthArc), the Swiss-born fintech building the AI-ready data infrastructure layer for wealth and asset management, announces its Information Security Management System (ISMS) has been certified to ISO 27001:2022 by BSI following a rigorous independent audit.
The certification confirms that WealthArc’s security controls and data governance practices meet the highest internationally recognised standards – a critical foundation as the company scales toward 1,000+ global custodian data feeds and rolls out its AI Agent roadmap.
WealthArc’s platform aggregates and reconciles portfolio data from 170+ custodian banks across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia, covering 40+ asset classes. In April 2026, the company launched its first AI Agent, automating the conversion of alternative data and unstructured financial documents into structured, AI-ready investment data, marking the first in a broader series of AI-powered workflow tools.
Radomir Mastalerz, CTO of WealthArc, said: “Our platform processes sensitive financial data from hundreds of custodian banks and financial institutions worldwide. Independent certification of our Information Security Management System is the standard our clients rightly expect, and one we are committed to maintaining as we build toward 1,000+ custodian data feeds and roll out our AI Agent roadmap.”
FF NEWS TAKE: This move absolutely sets a new governance expectation for the WealthTech infrastructure layer, moving the needle on security from ‘nice-to-have’ to ‘must-have’ for firms relying on aggregated custodian data. The true test of this rigorous security framework will be in the coming months as WealthArc rolls out its AI Agent roadmap. We should watch for proof points demonstrating that this trusted foundation enables higher-value, autonomous financial workflows, without compromising compliance or data integrity.
