Uncapped Partners with Shoper to offer flexible finance to its e-commerce business customers

Uncapped, one of Europe’s fastest growing fintechs and revenue-based lender, has today announced it is partnering with Shoper, the most popular e-commerce platform in Poland to provide Shoper customers with fast, flexible funding for their businesses.

The partnership with Uncapped enables Shoper’s customers to obtain funds to help grow their e-commerce businesses by securing inventory, acquiring new customers or hiring more staff. The entire application process takes place either online or by phone with Uncapped’s Polish-speaking investment managers on hand to provide guidance throughout the funding application process. Uncapped does not require credit checks or personal guarantees and, in most cases, funding decisions are made within just 24 hours.

Shares in Shoper jumped as much as 22% when the company debuted on the Warsaw stock exchange in July 2021. The company has been buoyed by the huge increase in online shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has boosted Poland’s rapidly growing e-commerce sector. Shoper says it has around 45% of the market for providing software as a service (SaaS) for e-commerce in Poland by customer count and aims to more than double its customer base by 2026.

Shoper’s partnership with Uncapped is part of the company’s plans to build a wide range of financial services products on its platform for both businesses and consumers. Shoper also works with Polish banks (Inbank and mBank) and other financial services providers (including Brutto and PayPo). Through the Shoper platform, online shop owners can find a variety of financing for their e-commerce development and consumers can finance their purchases.

Łukasz Piechowiak, Head of Financial Services, Shoper said: “Our partnership with Uncapped is a fantastic way for us to immediately offer fast, flexible funding to our rapidly growing e-commerce customers. The simple process and the speed of funding decisions could be game-changing for many businesses.”

Piotr Pisarz, Co-Founder of Uncapped said: “We are excited to bring Uncapped’s fast and flexible financing to Shoper’s customers. Offering our revenue-based financing on the most popular SaaS e-commerce platform in Europe increases our geographic reach and enables us to help many more e-commerce businesses to grow.”
