Trulioo’s Releases Brand New Parody Music Video, “Get Verified”
Trulioo, the leading global identity verification provider, has launched its third parody music video – Get Verified, a take on the Bee Gee’s classic “Stayin’ Alive”.
The video chronicles the journey of an aspiring entrepreneur with ambitions to become a fashion icon and launch her own clothing line. Many of today’s entrepreneurs are digital natives who have come to expect the speed and convenience afforded by modern technology. Research show that while millennials lead the charge for the adoption of mobile banking, abandonment rates increase dramatically if users find the account opening process takes too long.
With patience no longer a virtue, organizations that offer a quick and seamless digital onboarding experience are continuing to win business from incumbents with manual processes and outdated systems.
The video aligns with Trulioo’s mission to provide the underserved and financially excluded with affordable, digital access to basic financial services. From millennials with no credit history to people without traditional ID documentation – having a digital identity is the first step to becoming an equal member of society. With rapidly advancing technologies and increased trust in the new digital era, mobile is bridging the gap and offering a new dimension of verifiable identities.
Prior to Get Verified, Trulioo premiered two other parody music videos, each with their own important messages. In 2016, Down with KYC was released, a parody of Naughty by Nature’s “Down with OPP”, to emphasize the importance of knowing your customer. This was followed by Verify You in 2017, which sings the praises of reliable identity verification and was inspired by one of Ed Sheeran’s most iconic hits, “Shape of You”.
“Trulioo’s parody music videos allow us to tell a story or an important message in creative and fun way,” said Kim Hong, VP of Marketing at Trulioo. “We want to produce something memorable that resonates with our audience in a meaningful way.”
To continue its efforts champion financial inclusion and fuel the fight against financial crime, Trulioo announced its strategic partnership with Refinitiv, a worldwide provider of financial markets data and infrastructure, at Money2020 Europe.
