Travelex Launches Travelex Wire: International Money Transfer from the Experts

Travelex has today launched Travelex Wire, a digital international money transfer service. Simple, easy and quick to use, Travelex Wire allows customers to send money to a variety of countries in a variety of currencies.

The launch of Travelex Wire is a key milestone in Travelex’s digital transformation. It is the latest innovation developed to meet the evolving needs of customers who need to use and move money around the world. As many as a third of Travelex customers already send money overseas and are on the lookout for new ways to send money cheaply and securely.

Kate Kennedy, Product & Strategy Director at Travelex comments: “Travelex Wire makes international payments as easy as checking in online, without the big price tag. The launch of Travelex Wire, combined with our existing services, makes Travelex Group the one-stop-shop for all our customers’ currency needs, whether they’re at home or abroad.

Travelex Wire is the first product built on a new digital payments platform, developed entirely by Travelex. Built on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, the digital money transfer solution will continue to be developed to offer new features and provide a platform for deepening relationships with corporate partners. The payments platform connects into a number of Travelex’s partners including Currencycloud for payment processing.
