Mintos Reports Robust 2023 Growth, Expands Into New Investment Products
Mintos, the multi-asset investment platform offering a unique mix of alternative and traditional investment options, today unveiled its financial results for the year ending 31 December 2023, marking a year of significant expansion. Over the past year, the company has experienced notable growth while also reaching profitability, driven by strategic expansions in product offerings and a strong emphasis on customer engagement and satisfaction.
In 2023, Mintos successfully transformed into a multi-asset investment platform, introducing Fractional Bonds and ETFs alongside its core business of investing in loans. In 2024, the platform continued expanding their selection of products, and added rental real estate and Smart Cash. These expansions show Mintos’ commitment to providing diverse investment opportunities, aiming to become the preferred platform for long-term investors in Europe.
2023 Annual Results
Mintos showcased a robust financial performance in 2023, with revenue increasing by 30% to reach EUR 11.4 million, up from EUR 8.8 million in 2022. The platform also reported a net profit of over 650 thousand, demonstrating an improvement from the loss of EUR 196 thousand in 2022.
By year-end, assets under administration reached more than EUR 600 million, underscoring the platform’s increasing trust and reliability among investors. The platform’s investor base spans Europe, with key markets including Germany and Spain. In Q3 2024, Mintos expanded its presence with official launches in Portugal and the Czech Republic, and is on track to complete its rollout across all European markets by the end of the same quarter.
Future Outlook
With a solid foundation and the introduction of new assets in 2023 and 2024, Mintos is committed to strengthening its existing portfolio of traditional and alternative asset classes. To fuel growth, Mintos launched their second crowdfunding campaign with Crowdcube in April 2024, securing EUR 3.1 million. This campaign holds the position of the second largest crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube for the year so far.
Martins Sulte, CEO of Mintos, expressed, “2023 has been a transformative year for Mintos, as we expanded beyond our core offering of investing in loans to become a comprehensive multi-asset investment platform.
