Skrill has signed a sponsorship deal with leading international esports team QLASH.
QLASH was founded in 2017 by professional poker players and entrepreneurs Luca Pagano and Eugene Katchalov. In its first year, Treviso-based QLASH has become one of the fastest-growing esport teams in Europe and the leading esports team in Italy.
The sponsorship will include Skrill branding and advertising on the QLASH team channel and across all pro-player jerseys, VIP experiences at live events, and collaborative live streams on Twitch, the leading live video platform and gaming community which has 15 million daily active users.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Paysafe’s Digital Wallets Division, comments: “This partnership with QLASH allows us to offer exclusive gaming moments to the esports community. Fans and gamers around the world can look forward to a packed schedule of exclusive offers and experiences including the opportunity to meet pro players in person. Skrill puts gamers and their needs at the heart of its efforts, and this sponsorship partnership provides a fantastic opportunity to engage the esports community and provide relevant and valuable experiences.”
Luca Pagano, CEO of QLASH, adds: “This partnership marks a very important milestone for our team, by allowing us to work side by side with a company that truly believes in the future of esports, and in the future of QLASH. The esports market has a huge untapped potential, globally.”
