SECUTIX Selects Adyen As Its Exclusive Payment Solution Partner

SECUTIX, the market leader in advanced digital solutions for the events industry, has announced its partnership with Adyen, the global financial technology platform of choice for leading businesses and the launching of S-Pay: SECUTIX’s new in-house payment solution.

Supported by Adyen, S-Pay is a centralized system offering end-to-end ticket payment processing for every sales channel and payment method.

SECUTIX, a SaaS platform, has chosen Adyen’s Adyen for Platforms solution to provide customers in the sport, live events and museum sectors with a seamless payment experience and stronger capabilities to tackle ticket fraud.

Adyen’s platform was selected because of its unified global approach, which enables ticket buyers – both at home and abroad – to pay using their preferred and trusted payment methods. This will make the payment process easier and more convenient for ticket buyers, no matter where they live.

With ticket fraud one of the biggest challenges facing the events industry, the two tech companies have developed S-Pay to proactively solve payment problems and detect attempted fraud using Adyen’s proprietary AI.

S-Pay will also provide real-time information on the status of every transaction and automated breakdowns of both box office and online ticket store payments – including when and how they’re made. Having all this information in one place will make it easier to resolve payment issues and to exchange sales data with accounting systems, without having to reconcile data from different providers.

Frédéric Longatte, CEO of SECUTIX, said: “We chose to partner with Adyen because it’s a best-in-class payment solution. Every year brings new payment methods and regulations to the ticketing market. Thanks to this partnership, S-Pay will keep evolving to ensure our clients are always up to date with the latest legislation and technologies. Working with Adyen will help us better serve our clients’ needs and offer ticket buyers a more streamlined payment experience.”

Edouard Coiraton, VP Platforms and Marketplaces at Adyen, added: “Event-goers are demanding greater transparency and a seamless buying experience. This partnership will help achieve that by providing SECUTIX event providers with a choice of payment methods that can be added with a click of a button. In that way, they can ensure their checkout experience is as frictionless and accurate as possible.”We’re on the same page as SECUTIX in wanting a smoother, fairer and safer ticket-buying experience and look forward to working with Frédéric and his team.”
