Clearent by Xplor Rebrands to Xplor Pay, Leader in Vertical SaaS Platform Payments

Clearent by Xplor, a leader in embedded payment solutions, today announced it is rebranding to Xplor Pay. The rebrand aligns Xplor Technologies’ U.S. payments division with the company’s global brand.

The new name reflects the company’s transformation from a traditional credit card processor into a modern, consultative, embedded payments partner. Historically focused on a referral partnership model, Xplor Pay is now evolving to offer that plus much more – giving software companies greater flexibility and control. With its new PayFac as a Service platform purpose-built for software companies, along with tailored integrations that evolve with their business, Xplor Pay now empowers software companies to control as much – or as little – of the payments experience as they choose.

As Xplor Pay, the company is doubling down on its commitment to software vendors, SaaS platforms, and developers – delivering scalable, integrated payments to help them monetize their platforms and maximize their revenue. The rebrand also provides a more unified, consistent experience for Xplor Pay’s merchant customers and partners globally, regardless of where they operate.

“We’re making it quicker and easier for SaaS platforms to build payments the way they want to, and control as much of the payments process as they wish – without compromising on quality,” said Nick Campbell, Chief Product Officer for Xplor Pay. “This rebrand is about redefining what it means to be a payments partner. Whether scaling up or simplifying, we’re giving software companies speed, flexibility, and scalability with our new suite of purpose-built APIs and tools.”

Over the past 18 months, Xplor Pay has introduced several technical enhancements to simplify integration and reduce time to revenue, including:

  • Low-Code Components for accelerating development cycles, reducing engineering overhead, enabling faster time-to-market, and digital innovation
  • White-Label Options empowering software providers to expand their market reach; offer branded, embedded experiences; and accelerate go-to-market without substantial technology overhead
  • A New Developer Center for integrators to access products, guides, resources, and references for payment integrations
  • Improved Full Integration Environment which replicates production environments for confident testing and certification
  • New Chargeback Dispute Management tools with built-in lifecycle tracking and intuitive API-based evidence submission, and
  • An Enhanced Partner Portal with integrated support ticketing, automated reporting, and direct Merchant Portal access for streamlined portfolio management.

With enhanced white-label tools, partners can fully customize the payment experience with their own branding and support details – creating a consistent experience across platforms. The new integration environment provides a robust testing environment for building and refining solutions without impacting live operations.

Tyler Barefoot from leading SaaS platform Dental Intelligence states, ‘The evolution of Xplor Pay has been a game-changer for our business. We dramatically reduced our development time and delivered a seamless, branded payments experience for customers. With the enhanced integration environment, we were up and running faster than ever. For us, Xplor Pay isn’t just about payments – they’re a true technology enabler of our growth.’

Looking ahead, Xplor Pay is focused on launching new capabilities including tap-to-pay on smartphones, faster merchant funding, and a unified global platform experience – all designed to help partners scale faster and improve merchant satisfaction.

With the Xplor Pay Rebrand Clearent initiative, the company speeds up its goal of making payments easier for software-based businesses by giving them a single platform identity.
