Wise Expands in London and Tallinn With New Office Moves Into Spaces Built for Growth

Wise, the global technology company building the best way to move and manage the world’s money, today announced it is entering a new chapter with the relocation of two offices in key cities: London, the global headquarters with over 1,000 employees, and Tallinn, its largest office for 2,200 employees. Wise has also acquired more office space in Austin.

In London, after more than eight years at the Tea Building on Shoreditch High Street, Wise is moving into new global headquarters at Worship Square – a new nine-story building on Clifton Street in Shoreditch that offers flexible office spaces and in-house wellbeing amenities. Wise will occupy five of the eight floors at Worship Square for its over 1,000 local employees, with its office footprint increasing by 40%.

This week, Wise is also opening its new office in Tallinn, Estonia. Wise is moving from the Norra building in the Baltika Quarter of the city to the recently redeveloped innovation district, Krulli Quarter, to accommodate over 2,200 employees. As Wise continues to grow globally, it is also expanding its regional hubs in Austin and Singapore. Additionally, Wise’s Budapest office, which is home to more than 800 employees, is currently undergoing a redesign.

Creative environments where teams can grow, thrive and collaborate

Making investments in its workplace is closely aligned with Wise’s mission of building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. By providing employees with purpose-built office spaces, connecting to exchange ideas and building products for customers is now far easier and more efficient.

Isabel Naidoo, Chief People Officer at Wise, said: “As we continue to scale, we’re focused on providing Wisers globally with the best environment to enable them to connect and collaborate on solving real problems for our customers, and build solutions that make moving and managing money effortless. With over 125 nationalities represented in our team – many of whom know firsthand the challenges of moving money across borders – these spaces help us come together to build the future of money without borders, helping around 13 million customers save on hidden fees.”

According to its bi-annual internal survey, employees scored Wise in the top 25% against the tech company benchmark when asked if they feel inspired by their company’s purpose and mission.

New London headquarters supports continued global growth

Founded and listed in London, Wise’s latest office move reinforces its roots in the city. With its new headquarters, Wise is well-placed to tap into London’s deep talent pool and global connectivity.

Emma Reynolds, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, who attended Wise’s new offices this week to host Innovate Finance’s latest Unicorn Council meeting for UK-based fintechs said: “This government is committed to supporting success stories like Wise as we go further and faster to deliver growth and put money in people’s pockets through the Plan for Change. Wise is a great example of the kind of innovative, high-growth businesses that make London a leading hub for fintech companies. Its success highlights the strength of our ecosystem – one that fosters entrepreneurship, attracts investments and creates high-skilled jobs. It demonstrates that the UK remains one of the best places to start and grow a business.”
