Vixio’s Regulatory Intelligence Team Crowned Paytech Team of the Year 2025

Vixio Paytech Team of the Year award for 2025 has been officially given out. This award honours the regulatory intelligence unit’s great work in payments compliance and fintech research. The award shows how Vixio helps businesses around the world navigate complicated regulatory environments.

Finalists were revealed last month, and Vixio triumphed over leading contenders, including FIS and Onbe, a testament to the Regulatory Intelligence team’s exceptional performance and impact.

Under the leadership of Vixio’s Chief Data & Research Officer Roseanne Spagnuolo, the team has evolved into a true intelligence powerhouse, delivering timely, actionable insights to payments firms worldwide.

The Vixio Paytech Team of the Year award shows that the company is still investing in expert-led insights that drive innovation in the payments industry.

The 20-strong team, comprising analysts, journalists, and data specialists, has been instrumental in Vixio’s vision to help turn compliance into a competitive advantage. In 2024 alone, the team processed over 4 million regulatory data points daily from 1,300+ authorities across 140 jurisdictions, identifying 2,230 sector-relevant updates, of which 665 were actionable.

Their work resulted in 1,600+ in-depth analysis articles, 3,200 regulatory updates, 17 bespoke research projects, and supported over 2,000 monthly users.
