Repayd Accelerates Global Expansion with Strategic Appointment of Erik Crouch
Repayd, the global, multi-currency merchant account built specifically for the travel industry, has announced the appointment of Erik Crouch as it continues its rapid international expansion.
The appointment reflects Repayd’s ongoing growth across global markets, as demand increases for specialist merchant account infrastructure designed to support the complexities of travel, aviation and travel technology businesses operating across borders.
Erik joins Repayd with nearly eight years of experience in high risk payments, bringing deep industry knowledge, a global perspective and a strong track record of building relationships that drive commercial growth. His role will focus on expanding Repayd’s global merchant base, working directly with travel businesses while also growing the company’s ISO and agent channel.
His arrival comes at a pivotal time for the business, reinforcing Repayd’s commitment to international expansion and industry visibility.
Erik previously held a Senior Account Manager role at PaymentCloud, where he specialised in merchant services, payment technologies and high risk solutions.
Having visited over 40 countries across six continents, Erik brings a real world understanding of the global travel landscape and the merchants operating within it.
Will Plummer, CEO of Repayd, commented:
“Erik’s appointment reflects both the pace of our growth and our ambition. As a global, multi-currency merchant account built for travel, our focus is on enabling businesses to operate internationally with confidence. Erik’s experience across high risk payments and his understanding of the travel sector make him a strong addition to the team as we continue to scale.”
Repayd has rapidly established itself as a specialist provider of merchant accounts for the travel industry, designed to support high value, cross border transactions and the unique challenges of deferred delivery.
Its infrastructure supports a broad range of travel sectors including airlines, cruise operators, travel technology platforms, online travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation providers and global marketplaces. By enabling businesses to accept and process payments across multiple currencies and jurisdictions, Repayd helps travel companies scale internationally while maintaining control, resilience and performance.
Built specifically for travel, Repayd’s merchant account solution is designed to optimise approval rates, reduce unnecessary costs and mitigate risk in a sector where long booking cycles, global customers and complex supply chains are the norm.
Erik Crouch added:
“I’m incredibly excited to join Repayd at such a pivotal stage of its growth. The travel industry requires specialist infrastructure to support global payments, and Repayd has built a solution that truly understands those challenges. I’m looking forward to working with merchants and partners worldwide to support their growth.”
As Repayd continues to expand its global footprint, Erik’s appointment underscores its commitment to investing in talent, strengthening international relationships and delivering specialist merchant account solutions for travel businesses operating at scale.
