Neonomics Tapped by Supporter’s Platform Støtte to Simplify Micro-Donations Through Open Banking

Støtte, an innovative platform designed to make it easier for sports associations and humanitarian organisations to receive support, announces its introduction of open banking with Neonomics. Støtte allows supporters to make micro-donations with every financial transaction they make. Neonomics has worked closely with Støtte to connect end users with their transactions across all banks to seamlessly map and track purchases to simplify how they send support to their clubs.

Støtte aims to revolutionize the way financial aid is given and received in the sports community, paralleling the effectiveness of charity donations. Fans and supporters of sport clubs and humanitarian organisations can pledge to donate a small amount of money every time they make a transaction. At the end of each week, the accumulated donations are deducted from their accounts and transferred to the sport clubs they support.

“Support is vital for both sports and humanitarian organisations to continue what they do” says Jørgen Rangnes, founder of Støtte. “Our platform enables anyone to contribute effortlessly, ensuring that financial aid is always flowing in to help these organisations thrive. We have worked closely with Neonomics from inception to map out what is possible and are excited to grow this offering together through the power of open banking.”

Through the partnership with NIF, Støtte gains access to a wide network of sport clubs across Norway. Sport clubs can easily sign up to join Støtte, enabling them to start receiving donations from fans immediately.

“We are pleased that Støtte have selected Neonomics as a core partner in enabling this unique service that shows what is possible through close collaboration.” says Christoffer Andvig, CEO of Neonomics. “This partnership will greatly enhance the user experience for both donors and organisations, fostering a stronger community of support within Norwegian sports and humanitarian aid.”

Fans and supporters can choose to donate any amount from 2 NOK per transaction, making it flexible and manageable for everyone. This innovative approach ensures that even small contributions can add up to significant support over time, providing a consistent financial boost to organisations that need it.
