myPOS Expands Tap to Pay on iPhone Across Europe

European fintech myPOS continues to expand its payment services across the continent, launching Tap to Pay on iPhone in Romania and Slovakia today. With the addition of these two markets, Tap to Pay on iPhone is now available through the myPOS Glass app in a total of 15 European markets, including the UK, France and Germany, enabling merchants to accept contactless payments directly on their smartphones.

“Customers prioritize speed, security, and convenience when paying, favoring contactless cards and digital wallets. Thanks to Tap to Pay on iPhone, businesses can effortlessly meet these expectations by accepting secure, contactless payments on the go. With myPOS, merchants receive their funds instantly, without any additional costs,” said Ferenc B. Tóth, myPOS Country Manager for Central and Eastern Europe

The expansion comes as myPOS reports another year of strong growth. In 2025, total transaction volume grew by 40% to over €19 billion, with the fastest turnover growth recorded in France and the UK. Online payment acceptance was the fastest-growing service, increasing by 38% year-on-year.

At the end of 2025, the company also completed the acquisition of German payment technology provider LAVEGO, which has more than 30 years of experience in the sector. The deal strengthens myPOS’s presence in Germany, where the upcoming integration of Girocard payments is expected to further expand the company’s reach in one of Europe’s largest payment markets.
