Liberis Partners with Pay-Jet to Expand Access to Flexible Funding for Merchants in Germany
Liberis, a leading global embedded finance platform, today announced its partnership with Pay-Jet, a Munich-based payment solutions provider, to introduce Pay-Jet Flex – a revenue-based financing solution tailored for hospitality businesses across Germany.
Through this collaboration, Pay-Jet’s extensive network of thousands of hospitality merchants, including but not exclusive to restaurants, cafes, hotels and franchises, will gain seamless access to fast, flexible, tailored and pre-approved revenue-based financing options, embedded directly within their existing payment ecosystem.
“The hospitality industry is a cornerstone of the German economy, yet many businesses struggle to secure funding through conventional means,” said Rob Fairfield, CEO of Liberis. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Pay-Jet to address this challenge and are committed to providing merchants with the access to capital and support they need to expand, manage cash flow, and invest in their businesses further, without unnecessary friction.”
The hospitality industry in Germany and Bavaria in particular, is deeply interconnected, making local partnerships key to thrive. Collaborating with Pay-Jet, a trusted and fully integrated player in the region, allows Liberis to connect with a broad network of merchants while strengthening its market position in Germany. Pay-Jet Flex, powered by Liberis, addresses this gap by offering non-dilutive funding solutions that align with businesses’ revenue cycles, ensuring merchants only pay when their customers pay them.
Merchants will benefit from a tailored approach to business funding, including:
- Fast and flexible financing options to expand premises, manage cash flow, and invest in inventory/stock.
- Pre-approved access to finance, making it easier to secure funding when needed.
- Dedicated support and expertise, leveraging Liberis’ global funding experience combined with Pay-Jet’s local market knowledge.
- Revenue-based payments structures that align with merchant’s cash flow.
- Strategic growth opportunities for larger hospitality businesses and franchises, with tailored funding solutions and premium support to scale operations.
Roman Göbel, Founder, Pay-Jet, added: “With 80% of our merchants operating in hospitality, we understand the unique financial pressures hospitality businesses face, particularly in securing the right funding at the right time. By partnering with Liberis, we combine local expertise with global funding experience to bring an effective tailored financial solution to both independent businesses and larger franchises. This partnership is just the beginning. We’re excited to enable our merchants to thrive with funding that is support our merchants running their hospitality business.”
Liberis and Pay-Jet are committed to delivering a seamless experience for merchants while continuously introducing tailored funding products to meet merchants’ evolving needs. They plan to build deeper product integration and an expanded range of financial solutions including further embedded financing solutions into Pay-Jet’s payment infrastructure; an expanded range of financing options to support larger hospitality businesses and franchises; and a white-glove service offering for high-growth hospitality businesses.
Liberis’ partnership with Pay-Jet is a key step in driving the adoption of embedded finance in underserved sectors, with plans to extend into additional DACH markets in the near future.
