Guavapay Supports Millwall Community Day 2025, Championing Young Talent and Local Initiatives
Guavapay proudly supported Millwall FC’s Community Day 2025, which took place last Saturday at The Den, bringing together fans, local young people, and community programs for the day celebration and engagement.
Millwall Community Trust CEO, Sean Daly, expressed his delight at the event’s success, stating: “Community Day 2025 was a huge success, and we are delighted with how the day went after months of planning. It was a great opportunity to showcase our outstanding programmes and the involvement of the programme participants on the day.”
As part of its commitment to community engagement, MyGuava Business provided the Community Trust with the Front of Shirt sponsorship for the game. Additionally, MyGuava Business supplied the Trust with POS terminals, enabling fans to conveniently make donations to support local initiatives.
With this support, a Community Champion Award was presented to a deserving young person, who received a signed Millwall FC shirt in recognition of their contributions. The day’s excitement continued as three talented local schoolchildren — T.J Ward, Zainul Jalloh, and Mohammed Jalloh — had the thrilling opportunity to take part in a penalty shootout on the pitch at halftime, creating unforgettable memories.
Grant Wyatt, Head of Partnerships at Guavapay, shared his thoughts on the partnership: “It was a pleasure to collaborate with the club and the Trust on such a meaningful day, highlighting the incredible work they do in the community and the positive impact they have on people’s lives. We’re proud to have been part of such a great initiative.”
Guavapay and MyGuava Business remain dedicated to supporting grassroots initiatives, empowering young talent, and making a meaningful impact in local communities.
