Brite Payments Takes Top Honours in Open Banking Payments at MPE Awards
Brite Payments, a leader in instant bank payments, has been recognised at the Merchant Payment Ecosystem Awards 2025, winning the award for ‘Best Use of Opening Banking for Payments’. Additionally, Brite was a finalist in the ‘Merchant Payment Acceptance of the Year’ category. Hosted in Berlin, the annual MPE Awards brings together industry leaders to celebrate excellence and innovation in the payments industry.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as our unwavering focus on delivering open banking-powered instant payments that transform the way people pay,” said Lena Hackelöer, Founder and CEO, Brite Payments. “Being a finalist for ‘Merchant Payment Acceptance of the Year’ is also a fantastic achievement, and we are proud to be recognised alongside other industry leaders.”
Brite’s Instant Economy Payment Insights report indicates that 86% of consumers consider security a top priority when trying a new payment method online, while 80% highly value ease of use. Brite Instant Payments, which utilises the open banking framework, delivers both – increased security and a seamless user experience.
