Leading Payments Company Chooses Mazooma’s eCheck Select Payment Technology To Service the Regulated US Online Gambling Industry
SafeCharge, a leading payments technology company announced today it is offering the regulated US online gambling industry real-time ACH payments via eCheck Select from Mazooma, the trusted source for verified bank payments in online sports betting and igaming.
eCheck Select verifies bank-level data in real-time, including consumer identification and account information. At the time of transaction, eCheck Select confirms a person’s account balance and processes the payment or terminates it if there are insufficient funds.
“We’re pleased to make our ACH technology available via the SafeCharge Payments Engine,” said Jamie MacKay, CEO, Mazooma. “With eCheck Select, igaming operators entering the newly-regulated US market can offer players here a seamless payment experience that increases transaction and onboarding success.”
“At SafeCharge we believe that payments are about more than just monetary transactions, it is a strategic pillar of any successful organisation. By making eCheck Select available to provide real time ACH payments, we aim to support global iGaming operators successfully expanding into the US, and further enhancing our innovative omnichannel Payments Engine designed to maximize payment conversions,” stated David Avgi, CEO, SafeCharge.
Acceptance of credit cards can be limited in the iGaming industry and with eCheck Select, operators can offer players an uninterrupted experience. It supports real-time verification and payments from every bank and financial institution in the US.
Real-time verification provides operators with rich consumer data, reducing fraud and eliminating customer service issues that sometimes arise with traditional ACH processing.
A Supreme Court decision on May 14, 2018 cleared the way for states to legalize sports betting, driving the momentum for this new segment of online iGaming to emerge.
