Sixfold, the underwriting AI company, has been selected by the prestigious CB Insights to be part of the Insurtech 50, which spotlights the top 50 private insurtech companies that are shaping the future of insurance. Sixfold was also included last year, which highlights the relevance and innovation of its solutions.

Globally, insurtech is evolving fast, and at the centre of this transformation are the innovators, like Sixfold, who are building smarter, faster, and more resilient solutions for the sector.

This year, CB Insights’ analysts reviewed thousands of start-ups from around the world and selected the top 50 through a rigorous, independent research process.

The expert panel behind the selection uncovered the companies driving the most meaningful change in insurance today, the key trends and technologies emerging across the sector, and what these shifts signal for the future of underwriting, claims, risk, and more.

Sixfold stood out for being at the forefront of the AI underwriting revolution, including with their recently announced Referral Agent, a significant development toward AI that doesn’t just analyze but acts. 

Referral Agent detects cases that need escalation, alerts the underwriter, and builds the complete referral package automatically. What typically takes an underwriter over an hour becomes seconds, freeing them to focus on actual underwriting.
