Send Appoints Daniel Pass as Chief Technology Officer to Drive Next Phase of Platform Growth

Leading Insurtech Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) has appointed Daniel Pass as Chief Technology Officer as the business continues to expand the functionality and scalability of the Send insurance platform.

Dan joins Send following his role as Chief Technology Officer for mortgage bank, Perenna, where he led the development of secure, scalable technology and guided the organisation through its successful launch as a new challenger bank. Dan was previously the Technical Director and Chief Architect for Betfred and has also held several key positions overseeing systems architecture and large-scale technical projects for startups, scale-ups, and FTSE 100 firms.

In his new role, Dan will spearhead Send’s technology vision, lead the development of its next-generation platform, and deliver the technological strategy to enable scalability and continued business growth.

Commenting on his appointment, Dan stated: “Send is driving significant and tangible change in the insurance market.  I was immediately impressed by their award-winning underwriting platform, but also by the appetite for growth and continuous innovation that runs through the business. As a ‘tech person’ through and through, I know I’ve found the right fit for my own values and skills, and I can’t wait to support Send in delivering the next generation in insurance platforms.”

Send co-founder and CEO Andy Moss added: “The right CTO is essential for any fast-growing Insurtech company.  That person needs to not only understand our mission and technology, but also have the vision to support our ambitions, and the expertise to scale our offering as we grow.  Dan has all of these important qualities and the necessary experience to help us achieve our international ambitions. I’m really pleased to have him join our executive team and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
